The Creative Grids 8-1/2" x 18-1/2" Ruler is a workhorse rectangle that spans standard rotary cutting mats while remaining 25% more compact than the 24-1/2" version for easier handling. Wide width excels at squaring corners and borders.

Key Features

• Embedded Gripper — slides easily over fabric until pressure is applied, then holds firmly to eliminate slipping and miss-cuts
• Turn-A-Round Feature — black numbers on white dots for whole-inch cuts; rotate 180° and use white numbers on black dots for 1/2" increment cuts
• Seam Allowance Markings — 1/4" dashed lines on two adjoining sides for trimming seam allowances
• High-Contrast Two-Color Printing — black and white markings in 1" grids with 1/8" and 1/4" increments
• White 45° line for trimming HSTs in whole-inch increments; black 45° line for half-inch increments
• Additional 45° lines crossing 1/4" from the outside edge — for squaring up flying geese, squares on point, and crosshatching
• 30°/60° angle line for additional cutting options
