The BERNINA #C21 10/36 Double Fold Binder attachment transforms raw fabric edges and necklines into professionally finished borders using bias tape. Designed for the BERNINA L 890 and compatible with bernette coverstitch models (b42, b48, b62, b68) and earlier BERNINA coverstitch machines (L 220, 009DCC, 1300MDC), this attachment folds unfolded tape twice—once on top and once underneath—then secures it with a cover or chain stitch in a single pass.
The double-fold design accommodates standard tape widths: 38 mm tape yields a finished 10 mm border, while 60 mm tape produces a 15 mm finished width. Create custom bias tape from your own fabric for a coordinated, personalized finish.
An attachment adapter is required for installation 103788.70.00. Perfect for binding necklines, armholes, hems, and decorative edges on garments and home décor projects.
